CARMACKS WINS CONTRACT FOR FINAL STRETCH OF WEST CALGARY RING ROAD

Alberta Transportation has awarded the contract for the final stretch of Calgary’s ring road to Calgary Safelink Partners. The entire ring road, when complete, will provide 101 kilometers of free flow travel around the City of Calgary.  Calgary Safelink Partners is a Joint Venture between Carmacks Enterprises Ltd., Graham Infrastructure LP and VINCI Infrastructure Canada Ltd. and the group will be constructing the “South Project” – Old Banff Coach Road to Highway 8.  The work includes 5 km of 6- and 8-lane divided freeway between Old Banff Coach Road and Highway 8, 7 bridges, a pedestrian bridge and 4 interchanges (Old Banff Coach Road SW, Bow Trail SW, 17 Avenue SW and Highway 8).
