The Industrial Division was formed in 1996 when Carmacks entered into industrial site work in Fort McMurray and has had a continuous presence on various sites since that time.
The Division operates out of the Fort McMurray office and maintains both union and non-union structures which are called into action depending upon the parameters of each contract undertaken. Operations include jobs of an industrial and civil construction nature, including utility installation, earthmoving operations, sparkwatch and confined space monitoring, spipeline construction including fire water lines, concrete oily water systems, water and sewer systems and other related projects in residential and commercial subdivisions. When necessary, support for larger contracts is supplied by other Carmacks divisions. Projects completed have been located in Fort McMurray, Suncor, Syncrude, Shell, CNRL and Fort Chipewyan.
We have a reputation for upgrading and/or refitting projects within an existing plant structure and working within confined spaces to get the job completed.
We can provide people and equipment for services from concrete pads and foundations, tank pads, pile layouts, underground piping, site grading - no job is to complex or menial. With our vast network or personnel and equipment resources, we are able to tackle industrial site construction projects of any size or nature.
