PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The general scope of work for this project was to construct three new bridges on a new roadway alignment. The work involved driving piles, cast in-place concrete abutments, erection of precast pile caps & girders and cast in-place HPC concrete deck.

Each of the three bridge sites presented its own unique environmental and access issues. Carmacks generated all QA/QC documentation for the bridge structures which was turned over and accepted immediately upon completion of the bridges, prior to Carmacks demobilization.

The contract completion date was November 30, 2010 but was completed two months ahead of schedule. Suncor and their Consultant were pleased with the quality of workmanship, timely delivery of QA/QC documentation and completion of the project.
