PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project, a three span structure (12m-18m-12m), is located on the newly twinned Hwy-39, approximately 12 km east of Estevan, SK. The two large cast in place pier walls (15m long, 10.45m high and 750mm thick) were the most challenging activity of the project, where steel forms were used to contain the 440m3 of concrete. The abutments were composed of precast concrete pile caps and precast concrete backwalls.
