MUNICIPAL

The Municipal Division performs work in municipal jurisdictions such as towns and cities as well as subdivision work for development companies including streets, water and sewer services.

With the ever increasing focus on the environment, Carmacks acquired equipment which enables us to perform in place recycling. This process utilizes the existing asphalt and gravel base to form a new base with improved strength in a shorter time frame. We have undertaken work for the City of Edmonton, City of Calgary and Alberta Transportation utilizing this green approach to base construction.

The division also offers concrete operations providing sidewalks, curbs and gutters with the ability to undertake large flat work, specialized exposed aggregate, stamped and colored concrete placement and any concrete structures related to both highway and municipal roadway structures.
