SWAHD –  PCCP Repairs – Partial Depth Repairs & Full Depth Repairs

Carmacks Enterprise Ltd. Is continuing the repairs of the concrete panels on the Anthony Henday Mainline, CEL and our Sub-Contractor will perform the Full Depth Repair and Partial Depth Repair on the North Bound Lane Mainline by Calgary Trail On-Ramp to the Henday mainline

Traffic Impact:

  • Full Time Lane Closures :
    • (1) Right Hand Lane Closure and Speed Reduction to 60km/h (over 600m) on the Anthony Henday Mainline North Bound Lane at the Calgary Trail (Stat. 1+300 to 1+900)

Lane Restriction will happen full time, Speed will be reduced on the remaining lanes (Right Hand Lane is the one being closed)

Duration:

  • 1) Operation Starting on the 13th of June

SWAHD – Steel Barriers Installation

Carmacks Enterprise Ltd. will be carrying on with the PCCP widening work. Our Subcontractor will install some Steel Barriers at Whitemud Creek on the South Bound Lane on the Anthony Henday Mainline.

Traffic Impact:

  • Night Time Lane Closure :
    • (2) Right Hand Lane Closure and Speed Reduction to 60km/h (over 000m) on the Anthony Henday Mainline South Bound Lane at the Whitemud Creek Bridge (Stat. 4+600 to 4+900).

Lane Restriction starting from 9:30pm to 12:00pm, i.e. off peak hour, Speed will be reduced on the remaining lanes (Right Hand Lane is the one being closed).

Duration:

  • (1) Operation Schedule on the 16th of June, for 1 day

Interchanges ACP Work, Rabbit Hill Road

Carmacks Enterprise Ltd. will continue the work involving the ACP  (Inlay & Overlay) of the different Interchanges along the SWAHD. The work will happen at Rabbit Hill Road Interchange.

Traffic Impact:

  • Night Time Lane Closure :
    • (1) Lane Closure of Rabbit Hill Road South Bound, North Side of the bridge.

Lane Restriction starting from 8:00pm to 5:00am. Lane closure will remaining until the road is paved, the remaining lanes will still be active.

    • (2) Lane Closure of Rabbit Hill Road South Bound, South Side of the bridge.

Lane Restriction starting from 8:00pm to 5:00am. Lane closure will remaining until the road is paved, the remaining lanes will still be active.

    • (3) Lane Closure of Rabbit Hill Road North Bound, South Side of the bridge.

Lane Restriction starting from 8:00pm to 5:00am. Lane closure will remaining until the road is paved, the remaining lanes will still be active.

    • (4) Lane Closure of Rabbit Hill Road North Bound, North Side of the bridge.

SWAHD –  PCCP Widening

Carmacks & our sub – contractor Proform will continue with the PCCP Widening on the South West Anthony Henday, South Bound lane.

The work will resume at the Cameron Height Interchange and continues south to the North Saskatchewan River.

Traffic Impact:

  • Night Time Lane Closure :
    • (1) Lane closure & Speed reduction to 60 km/h, (over 1 100m)  on the Mainline Anthony Henday Drive South Bound Lane, by Cameron Height Interchange (Stat. 11+200 to 12+300).

Lane Restriction starting from 8:00pm to 5:00am, i.e. off peak hour, Speed will be reduced on the remaining lanes. (Right Hand Lane is the one being closed)

    • (2) Lane closure & Speed reduction to 60 km/h, (over 500m)  on the Mainline Anthony Henday Drive South Bound Lane, by North Saskatchewan River (Stat. 10+500 to 11+000).

Lane Restriction starting from 8:00pm to 5:00am, i.e. off peak hour, Speed will be reduced on the remaining lanes. (Right Hand Lane is the one being closed)

Duration:

  • (1) PCCP Widening scheduled for 11th of June, for 3 Nights.
  • (2) PCCP Widening scheduled for 14th of June, for 2 Nights.

SWAHD –  PCCP Repairs – Slab Jacking

Carmacks Enterprise Ltd. Will carry on with the PCCP Repair works, and will loop around from Lessard Rd to the Anthony Henday Mainline South Bound Lane.

The Main activity is involving the Slab Jacking to lift up the sunken panels prior any Concrete Repair (Full Depth, Partial Depth repair etc.).

Traffic Impact:

  • Night Time Lane Closures :
    • (1) Lane Closure & Speed Reduction to 60km/hrs, (over 700m) on the Mainline Anthony Henday Drive South Bound Lane, at the Lessard Interchange (Stat. 13+800 to 14+500).

Lane Restriction starting from 8:00pm to 5:00am, i.e. off peak hour, Speed will be reduced on the Remaining Lanes (Right Hand Lane is the one being closed).

Duration:

    • (1) Operation Scheduled on the 18th of June

Interchanges Milling and ACP Work, Callingwood

Carmacks Enterprise Ltd. will continue the work involving the ACP  (Inlay & Overlay) of the different Interchanges along the SWAHD. The work will happen at Callingwood Road Interchange.

Traffic Impact:

  • Night Time Lane Closure :
    • (1) Lane Closure of Callingwood Road / 62 Ave Westbound , East Side of the bridge (North East quadrant of the Interchange).

Lane Restriction starting from 6:00pm to 6:00am.

    • (2) Lane Closure of Callingwood Road / 62 Ave Westbound , West Side of the bridge (North West quadrant of the Interchange).

Lane Restriction starting from 6:00pm to 6:00am.

    • (3) Lane Closure of Callingwood Road / 62 Ave  Eastbound , West Side of the bridge (South West quadrant of the Interchange).

Lane Restriction starting from 6:00pm to 6:00am.

    • (4) Lane Closure of Callingwood /62 Ave Road Eastbound , East Side of the bridge (South East quadrant of the Interchange).

Lane Restriction starting from 6:00pm to 6:00am.

SWAHD – DMS Installation

As part of the SWAHD Expansion Program, Carmack’s Subcontractor, Can-Traffic, will complete the installation of the DMS bases along the Anthony Henday.

The Scope of the work includes four (4) new structures :

  • DMS-02, North Bound Lane , atStation 2+890, by 111St Interchange On ramp.
  • DMS-03, South Bound Lane, atStation 7+270, by Terwillegar Interchange On Ramp.
  • DMS-07, North Bound Lane, atStation 12+340, by Wedgewood Creek (before the bridge).
  • DMS-08, South Bound Lane, atStation 19+140, By 87 Ave Interchange Off ramp.

Traffic Impact:

Day Time Lane Closure :

  • (1) DMS-08: Right-hand Lane Closure & Speed Reduction to80km/hr over 300 m, South Bound Lane of the Anthony Henday, at the 87 Ave Interchange Off ramp (Stat. 19+000 to 19+300)

Lane Restriction for 4 Hoursbetween 10am to 2pm,i.e off peak hour, Speed will be reduced on the two remaining lanes , (Right Hand lane is being closed).

Duration:

  • (1) DMS-08: Operation Scheduled on 26th May 2021
    • Night Time Lane Closure :

      Portland Cement Concrete Paving (PCCP) Widening

      Carmacks & our sub – contractor Proform will continue with the PCCP Widening on the South West Anthony Henday, South Bound lane.

      The work will resume at the North Saskatchewan River Bridge, going South to Terwillegar Interchange.

      Traffic Impact:

       

      • Night Time Lane Closure :

       

        • (1) Lane closure & Speed reduction to 60 km/h, (over 300m)  on the Mainline Anthony Henday Drive South Bound Lane, by the North Sask. River Bridge to Terwillegar Interchange (Stat. 9+200 to 9+500).
