PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

 This new 15m long single span bridge replaced an existing three span bridge approximately 8km south of Meadow Lake, SK on Highway 4. A temporary detour was employed to maintain existing traffic. The abutments were composed of precast concrete pile caps and timber backwalls. The bridge superstructure included precast concrete girders with an asphalt riding surface. Also included in the project scope was a minor amount of roadway improvements adjacent to the new bridge.
